How is FedEx helping Nevadans get a new mail-in ballot?

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Every registered voter in Nevada should have received a mail-in ballot weeks ago.

That wasn’t the case for FOX5 Investigates’ Andryanna Sheppard. After realizing her ballot wasn’t in her mailbox when early voting began on Saturday, Oct. 19, she started doing some research.

According to the ballot tracking site Vote TraxThe ballot was sent on October 10 and was supposed to arrive two days later.

Sheppard called Clark County Elections Department It was said that a new one would be sent to your address.

A week later, Sheppard still didn’t have a ballot. She called again and was told the ballot had been ‘marked’ for sending.

Concerned, Sheppard contacted a Clark County spokesperson and was told by the Elections Department that the ballot would be sent via FedEx. This way the department can keep track of him. Sheppard’s ballot was delivered in less than 24 hours.

A Clark County spokeswoman said the Elections Department said anyone facing similar issues can vote for FedEx.

Voters should call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a new ballot.

You can also pick up a ballot at the Clark County Elections Department, 965 Trade Dr., Suite A. In North Las Vegas.
