Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen said:

“We have maintained our momentum behind this investigation to ensure that those responsible for killing Jason Diallo and seriously injuring another man are held accountable.

“Our investigations found no evidence to suggest that Jason Diallo or the attempted murder victim were known to each other or to the inmates, indicating that this was a completely unprovoked and violent incident.

“Jason Diallo was described by his family as a very soft-hearted, devoted father of two children. Our thoughts remain with his family and friends throughout these difficult four years and we are determined to see them receive justice.

“We are now in a position to release the photograph of this man whom we would like to speak to in connection with the ongoing investigation.

“If you know who he is or have any information that could help us please get in touch.”
