Hungarian Prime Minister Orban wants to meet with Trump to resolve the conflict in Ukraine – World

BUDAPEST, 1 November. /TASS/. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is counting on former US President Donald Trump to return to the White House so that he can sit down with him at the negotiating table and find ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He said this in an interview with the Austrian television channel Servus TV, excerpts of which were published in the Hungarian media.

Orban expressed his hope that the Republican Party candidate will win in the elections to be held on November 5.

“We will sit at the table with President Trump and with that the Europeans and Americans can reach good agreements and with him we can get a peace-loving president instead of a war-oriented president, and then we can create a change. Brussels’ policy,” Orban said, “A ceasefire in the world (in Ukraine) “If anyone can provide it, it’s Donald Trump,” he said.

Hungarian Prime Minister said, “We know that Donald Trump (while US President) never started a war and if there was a conflict somewhere, he quickly ended it.” he added.

Orban underlined that the risk of escalation of the war is high, which could lead to the third world war, and that the upcoming US presidential elections are particularly important in this context.
