Telangana has resolved 6,05,805 of the 6,11,996 pending civil and criminal cases that came to Lok Adalat for speedy disposal. Thus, the state has achieved the highest clearance percentage with 98.99 percent of cases currently in litigation. Coming to pre-trial cases, the Telangana State Legal Services Authority (TSLSA) has handled 6,41,022 such cases and disposed of 6,33,239 cases with 98.79 percent success. In both the categories, Telangana topped the case disposal percentage by achieving disposals of 98.99 per cent and 98.79 per cent.

Telangana High Court Chief Justice Justice Alok Aradhe and TSLSA’s board chairman Justice Sujoy Paul congratulated all the stakeholders who made the third National Lok Adalat a huge success and those who supported TSLAS to be placed at the top in percentage of solved cases.

“Under the directions of Chief Justice Aradhe and Justice Paul, the District Legal Services Authorities (DSLAs) have set up pre-Lok Adalat conciliation sitting centers and 230 Lok Adalat benches across the state. With their participation, the highest percentage of cases were solved,” said Ch. Panchakshari, TSLSA member secretary.
