Walworth man arrested for harassment after domestic incident

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says a 30-year-old Walworth resident was arrested following a domestic incident in which he allegedly hit another person. Shannon S. Williams was taken into custody on Nov. 1 after deputies responded to an incident on Ontario Road in Walworth.

Williams is charged with second-degree harassment by striking the person with a closed fist, according to deputies. Williams was transported to the Wayne County Jail where he awaited a CAP hearing scheduled for 7 a.m. Nov. 1.

The investigation was conducted by Deputy King and no further details were released.
