$60,000 from rare collections lost during the Waldo theft

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – An investigation continues into the theft of a Waldo business that lost $60,000 in rare collectibles in mid-October.

Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department During the week of Oct. 18, law enforcement responded to a report of a burglary at 1111 E. 73rd St. He says he was called to Waldo T-Shirts at .

When first responders arrived, they said they found valuable Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky collector cards, antique comic books, laptops and autographed sports T-shirts had been stolen from the local business.

In total, investigators said approximately $60,000 in rare items was stolen.

KCPD said no suspects had been arrested in the case as of Nov. 1. Detectives continue to investigate. Anyone with information about the crime should report it to KCPD at 816-413-3406.
