USF’s Alex Golesh belittles FAU’s Tom Herman with a cold handshake after the Bulls’ 44-21 win over the Owls

The Sunshine State’s college football rivalry hasn’t been must-see television lately, it’s been a cold postgame handshake with USF coach Alex Golesh. Florida Atlantic coach Tom Herman is likely to create excitement during his pregame programs on Saturday morning.

Herman told FAU media that he “wishs” there was a conversation between him and Golesh.

I don’t think we specifically recruit against each other. I can’t think of a guy we’d have to beat them.

“I have a lot of respect for a lot of these guys, but I said we were going to come back to get it. Last year we were embarrassed at home at the end of the game. We came, we got it, we’ll continue to get it.”
